Daily Apartment Rental Agreement: Sample and Filing Rules

Verbal agreement when renting housing is a risk. For the owner, it is a threat to get damaged furniture or a smoke-filled room without compensation. For the tenant, it is a risk of losing the security deposit. The Ukraine Apartments portal recommends always signing a written contract, even if you are renting housing for one day.

Why is This Document Important?

Time Fixation: A clearly defined check-out time (e.g., 12:00) allows avoiding conflicts if the guest is late.
Security Deposit: The contract records the deposit amount and conditions for its non-refund (property damage, smoking, loss of keys).
Passport Data: This is basic security. In case of theft or incident, you will know exactly who lived in the apartment.

Use the apartment exclusively for living.
Observe silence from 22:00 to 08:00 (according to the legislation of Ukraine).
Not smoke in the apartment (the fine is deducted from the Deposit).
Not hold parties and mass events.
Vacate the apartment at the time specified in clause 3.3.

5.2. The Landlord has the right to:

Evict the Tenant without refund in case of violation of residence rules (noise, complaints from neighbors, property damage).

6. LIABILITY

6.1. In case of loss of keys, the Tenant compensates their cost in the amount of ______ UAH.
6.2. In case of damage to property, the Tenant undertakes to compensate for losses in full.
